DALLAS AREA RAPID TRANSIT (DART): BLUE LINE EXPANSION PROJECT
DOWNTOWN ROWLETT STATION
Project Description: The project is being accomplished by the Design/Build contract approach and provides for the expansion of DART’s Blue Line into The City of Rowlett. The line section includes approximately 4.8 miles of light rail guide way extending from Downtown Garland Station to Downtown Rowlett Station. Project also includes 8,300 LF freight line relocation. Work includes 7 bridge structures (4,300 LF); 70,000 SF of retaining walls; 17 storm water improvements, 17 water & waste water improvements; 20 plus franchise utility relocations or encasements.
Services Provided: TEI is providing the Quality Assurance and Quality Control Audits under the D/B Contractor’s Quality Program.

DFW INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT: INTERNATIONAL TERMINAL D EXPANSION
Project Description: The construction of DFW International Terminal D, is a two million-square foot terminal situated on 29 acres, capable of handling 32,000 passengers daily. The terminal features 99 ticketing positions, three security checkpoints and a federal inspection facility capable of processing 2,800 passengers per hour. Also included is an eight-level parking garage with 8,100 parking spaces and a Smart Technology System that inform guests which floors are full.

U.T. SOUTHWESTERN MEDICAL CENTER - DALLAS: NORTH CAMPUS PHASE 5 PROJECT
Project Description: This project included the design and construction of an eight story 238,026 gross square feet (GSF) biomedical research building, including Children’s Medical Center Research Institute; with 88,933 SF of underground parking. The project also includes a 34,780 GSF Thermal Energy Plant.

PARKLAND HOSPITAL: THE NEW PARKLAND REPLACEMENT PROGRAM - DALLAS, TEXAS
Project Description: Â New construction of an 862 adult bed full service acute care hospital, outpatient center, office center, parking, plant, and other support facilities to achieve a new healthcare campus. The project includes construction of a 1.7 million S/F hospital, 380,000 S/F clinic center, 275,000 S/F office center, parking for 6,000 vehicles, and other support facilities. The hospital is the initial facility to be followed by office and clinic centers as programming and strategic planning for facilities are completed. All program construction is to be completed by March 31, 2014.
